I was told that that the color that I was going to get was going to go with my skin tone and it was the right color for me I was also told that a second color which I did not purchase think God was another color for me I looked in the mirror and I was just the complete opposite I kind of trusted the salesperson and goodbye in lipstick with a very expensive and I can't use it anymore at all because it's just horrible looking the color

EMAIL sent on 03/01/19 at 22:01 GMT Customer service issue - Impolite/rude staff complaint Dear Sir / Madam, I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Shops The issue that I have experienced was: Went into store to make exchange with products that I bought online. Associate behind the counter gave me inaccurate information on the process and then refused to give me my products back stating that she had already requested to exchange/return. I then asked her to cancel her request and then I would keep my products until I was able to make the exchange. Associate stated to me that “she was just doing me a favor “. And was completely rude and condescending throughout the whole process. It also took 45 minutes and at the end of the day I wasn’t able to make an exchange. And I also had to call customer service while I was still in the store so that she can return my items. It occurred on: 3/01/2019 Please contact store and give employee a warning or write up. And then please assist me with the way to make the exchange. I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account. Went into a store to make an exchange from an online order. I was told by the assistant manager that she had to call while I’m in store to request an exchange/return. After 45 mins,she then told me that I would have to wait 7-10 days and that she would have to keep my products. I didn’t understand that process so I asked her to cancel the request. She then stated “That she was trying to help me out,but she doesn’t have to “. So I called customer service while I was still in the store and they said that online purchases can’t be exchanged in store. And then they apologized and told the associate that she needed to give me my products back. So after all of that and over a hour I wasn’t able to get any correct information on how to make an exchange.

I went in to Mac Cosmetics in London, Ontario to purchase a new lipstick. Myself and my Husband were the only two customers in the ENTIRE store, while three staff members continued to chat amongst themselves without even acknowledging our presence..my Husband was the one who ended up helping me and sifting through the drawers to find the right shade. GET IT TOGETHER. YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HIGH END SO ACT LIKE IT. Will not return.

I tried to cancel my orders three times, first time on thursday after one hour of placing it, they assured me it got cancelled but since I didn't get a refund the next day I contacted them again so they told me it got stuck in the system and the girl promised it will be fixed in two working days, only to be shipped the next monday. I used the live chat to talked to them, the girl there pretended I never contacted them and the Live chat is only for US cutomers while I made my order on the canadian one.

So basically they shoved their products down my throat!!

but I will be returning them and this is the last time I'm buying from MAC!! There's better brands out there with better CS.

Month if wait, and still no package.

First, they sent it to the wrong address twice, and than sent the third package and than they requested for return even before it got to me. I had to call the customer service five times and UPS and USPS myself to figure out what’s going on. And they have some extream up and downs with the customer service. Out of five times, two of them were so rude! I still haven’t received the package- I am never going to shop with them again.

Poor Customer Service from a Manager

I was at the Towson Town Center in Baltimore County. I was explaining t the woman, her name was MacKenzie, that i was having some issues with having an oily face after a short time after applying my foundation. She stated that it was not the foundation that it was my personal skin issue and begin to tell me technical terms as to why it happens. She was very condescending. After feeling like she did not want to help me, i left even more confused than when i arrived. After leaving the store I decided to return to the store and ask for someone else to help. I was preparing for my wedding in one week and wanted to look as flawless as possible. I was greeted by another employee who asked me questions and attentively wanted to help resolve my issue. She was waiting on another customer but was able to give me some information. She stated that with oily skin, that the foundation i had was not a good match, that she suggested another. She asked MacKenzie to do a "color swatch" on me while she finished up with her prior client, to which MacKenzie did not respond. MacKenzie approached me and asked if I had returned to get the product that I had originally asked for. I responded no, that the young layd had suggested another product. As i was talking to her, she turned her back, while i was talking, and walked away. The other young associate was able to get the right foundation, return my old one and i purchased a powder, oil free lotion and mascara. i wanted to purchase a liquid liner and they were out of stock. I spent almost $100 in the store and if it weren't for my wedding i would have went to another MAC store, I also contemplated going to Sephora because i was so disgusted with MacKenzie's customer services. She was rude and unwilling to assist me. As she was checking me out at the register, MacKenzie was asked to handle a phone call and I realized that she was the manager on duty. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location because of this encounter.

I Bought a brand new iMac 27" 5k 2017 at the apple store and regretted it right away! here is why... 1, system problems and glitches and compatibility issues in the new OSX... 2, product defects Bluetooth and wifi *** out needed to take it in for the week for the motherboard to be replaced! 3, entry level RAM is CAPPED less then other iMacs.. and again costs way more trough apple! but good thing is you can do it yourself! 4, Fusion Drive GARBAGE! 5400 speed drive with limited ram on it.. also cost you 4x more through apple! WHY!!!! no choice if you got apple care! 5, in the Music industry it is Firewire 400 and 800.. try and get apple to stock for the NEW USB-C to convert to this is painful!!! 6, NO system Disk! you have to take you r system in EVERYTIME to get it re installed! better hope its not after the 3years you paid extra for! my advice is get the cheepest mac mini no warranty rip it open and put an SSD in it! and Max out the Ram.. OR get a Hackintosh! if you like there software like i do... Logic X is the only reason I got another mac and imeadatly regretted it... Sad... going to get a PC next and start coverting back over and going to have to use another program Cubase or something... Thanks Apple! for nothing...

Sorry, but you're ay over my head. I don't like computers or cell phones and haven't bothered to learn anything new since we "had" to learn COBOL and FORTRAN back in the early 80's ...

now you seem to be faced with a withering variety of equipment some of which must be more efficient for you than others.

I've had a bad taste in my mouth for Apple since they stole The Beatles' logo and made their computers run on different software (available only from Apple) than the "IBM clones". How totally uncool must you be to be sued by The Beatles ?

There was a mistery hual at M.A.C online 7 days ago, and they said nothing about FINAL SALE or CLEARANCE or NON RETURN......... On my shipment email, they said explicitly "If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer free returns in-store and by mail". However, when I call customer service, I am told that it was a final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Since the item is no longer available online, they can say whatever they want. For the product, they promised the box would contain 7 full-size products. But there are 7 lip products and a travel size (mini) spray. Are you kidding me? You are telling me that this travel size product is "full size"? Tell me this is not a fraud. M.A.C this is the way you treat your loyal customer. If MAC stated clearly that the product is non returned, non exhcanged, I would have considered before purchasing. This is unacceptable.

I went to Mac in Macy 's Gwinnett place mall, Georgia to buy make up and ask what I thought was a simple question. " What color lipstick could you recommend for my skin tone?" Instead of getting a recommendation I was told "there's plenty of colors, you just have to look!" The store was not even busy. It was only me and 1 other customer. I thought your consultant /associate is supposed to offer suggestions and help. I will not be visiting this location ever again. I have been a loyal customer of your product for so many years and the service I got today is horrible!

Very poor hygiene by an employee named Clarissa in the Mac in Macy’s on state st in Chicago. So bad that everyone just left very uncomfortably. Please get rid of this kind of filthy employee. Bad for business and giving beauty a bad name and smell.

Omg! I was just searching for a place to leave a comment about that store.

Were you there the day that it smelled so bad they closed for an hour to talk to her? That is where I got upset because a whole business shouldn’t shut down because employee CLARISSA can’t shower! My daughter was there for prom supplies but we could not get them due to her causing this problem working in the store. MANAGEMENT PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND FIRE THIS WOMAN!

She doesn’t stand for what Mac is. She is driving away business and making customers feel bad about being sssociated with Mac

BEST FOUNDATION EVER

6 or 7 years or so ago while shopping at the mall with my brother (ex's brother) I needed a new foundation and he suggested MAC which I hadn't tried before BEST advice ever : easy to apply, full coverage, has SPF and last's the entire day (without having to re-apply. I have pretty dry skin and it never looks caked on like other foundations) and while I have tried most of the other foundations MAC has, the studio fix fluid is my favorite (and the cheapest which is nice) and while they have expanded their color selection NW20 is the best color for me (a while ago they had stopped selling it but I am glad they decided to bring it back) its nice when things stay the same especially in foundation, I don't have to go and get color matched each time. LOVE this product

FIRST TIME MAC BUYER (Shade NC50): I have been skeptical about MAC products because just because they cost more doesn't mean they're better... HOWEVER, this foundation is AMAZING! I have extremely oily skin, large pores, and 1-2 scars on my face. This completely covered EVERYTHING with ONE application, wasn't cakey, melted into my skin, and was NOT shiny (but I also used POREfessionals Mattyfying Gel as a primer). I have officially been swooped into MAC and will never be a drugstore girl again :)
